Video submission rules

Submission

Each video should be accompanied by an abstract. Abstracts can only be submitted online.

Video files should be submitted online as well: adriatic.video.award@gmail.com

In the exceptional case that this is not possible you can send the video file by a down- and upload service like https://www.wetransfer.com to adriatic.video.award@gmail.com.

Language

All videos must be in English.

Format

All videos submitted must be in the final format.

Hence, they must include

1. the exact title,

2. all author’s names,

3. production date,

4. running time,

5. videos without sound (music and/or voice-over) will not be accepted.

Duration

The video can have a maximum length of 5-7 minutes.

Size and format

All formats are accepted, but mp4 is the preferred format.

Minimal requirements for video upload: Resolution PAL or NTSC ( 720x576 pixels or 720x420pixels ). Frame rate higher than 25fps. Pixel aspect ratio: 4:3 or 16:9. Bitrate higher than 3Mbps. Audio stream: mono, 44100 Hz. Video container: MPEG-2, MOV, WMV or AVI or any MPEG-4 encoded file. Recommended requirements for video upload: Resolution HD ( 1280x720 pixels ) or higher. Frame rate higher than 25fps. Pixel aspect 16:9. Bitrate higher than 6Mbps. Audio stream: Stereo, 48000 Hz or better ( AAC, DTS, Dolby 5.1 ). Video container: MPEG-4 ( MP4 or MKV ).

Requirements for videos are in accordance of EAU Annual congress regulations.
